CA 16 Harvard
New 1/1250 scale waterline model of the Passenger Ship Harvard by California Models (CA 16). Harvard and her near identical sister Yale were built in 1906 to run overnight service between Boston and New York City. They were soon sold to west coast interests and spent the majority of their commercial lives running between Los Angeles/San Diego and San Francisco. Harvard was wrecked on the California central coast in 1931. The model depicts her as lost and can also represent Yale after the First World War.
