New 1/1250 scale model of the British cross channel ferry Normannia from 1952 by Solent.
Steel twin screw turbine steamer built by Denny's of Dumbarton. Designed for British Transports Commission's route from Southampton to Le Harve, Rebuilt into car ferry 1964. Served on many different routes between 1964 and 1978 when she was sold for scrap.
