SOM 16 HMRC Vigilant

New 1/1250 scale model of the British customs ship Vigilant by Solent (SOM 16) as in 1947.

Built 1943 as HMS Benbecula an Isles class armed trawler. Purchased 1947 by HM Customs and Excise. 1947-1953 based on the Thames. 1953 transferred to Southampton. Sold 1962.

50m long, 8.43m beam, gross tonnage 545 tons.
