Comet Authenticast Tanks of the World
Armored vehicles in 1/108 scale.
Comet began making metal toy soliders in the 1930s. Produced a series of vehicles in 1/108 during WW2 as recognition models. These were offered to civilian market starting in 1945.
The Comet masters and moulds were sold to Superior in 1962. Eventually the moulds ended up in the hands of Quality Castings and acquired by 19th Century Miniatures in 2002. Some moulds (heavily modified) are still in production today.
